Pioneer Middle School Expectations for Students<\/h1>\n

P5 Pride: Prompt, Prepared, Positive, Polite, Productive<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Learn the expectations students must meet in order to be successful at Pioneer…<\/p>\n

Your job at Pioneer is to learn!<\/h2>\n

At Pioneer, there are five expectations you will be expected to meet as soon as you come on campus. If you meet these expectations, you can earn a\u00a0P5 Ticket<\/strong>. Any adult on campus can give you a P5 Ticket. If you fail to meet these expectations, you will receive a warning or sign-in. Any adult on campus can issue you a warning or sign-in.<\/p>\n

Prompt<\/h3>\n

Students will be in line before the bell rings and remain in their seats for instruction. Students will obtain permission before leaving their seat.<\/p>\n

  • Timely transitions<\/li>\n
  • Use the restroom without delay<\/li>\n
  • Timely return on signed documents<\/li>\n
  • Wait for teacher dismissal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Prepared<\/h3>\n

    Students will have everything you need ready for class.<\/p>\n

    • Chromebooks charged and ready for use<\/li>\n
    • Have all materials ready-to-go<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Positive<\/h3>\n

      Students will treat all people and property with respect.<\/p>\n

      • Use appropriate language<\/li>\n
      • Be civil to others – considerate of other people’s feelings and needs<\/li>\n
      • Cooperate with others<\/li>\n
      • Be willing to try new activities – and show enthusiasm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Also, remember that profanity is a referral offense!<\/em><\/p>\n

        Polite<\/h3>\n

        Students will only speak at appropriate times.<\/p>\n

        • Be an active listener – not talking when someone else is talking<\/li>\n
        • Eat in designated times and areas<\/li>\n
        • Use supplies\/equipment\/property as intended<\/li>\n
        • Gum-free campus<\/li>\n
        • Use appropriate speaking volume<\/li>\n
        • Keep hands and feet to yourself<\/li>\n
        • Wait patiently for help<\/li>\n
        • Keep your work area(s) clean<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Productive<\/h3>\n

          Students will always do your best and give 100%!<\/p>\n

          • Follow procedures to enter and exit class<\/li>\n
          • Engaged in your learning – and staying on task<\/li>\n
          • Complete all assignments<\/li>\n
          • Know when it is time to talk and time to listen<\/li>\n
          • Listen to and follow directions<\/li>\n
