    • First Counseling Lesson:<\/strong> Wednesday, August 26 during PE classes (Theme: “Meet Your Counselor!”<\/em>).<\/li>\n
    • Counselor:<\/strong> Mrs. Freitas<\/li>\n
    • Details:<\/strong> Students will meet Mrs. Freitas, learn about available counseling services and resources, discover how she can support them throughout the year, and find out how to schedule time with her.<\/li>\n
    • Counselor Referral QR Code:<\/strong> Students, parents, and teachers can refer a student for counseling using the Counselor Referral QR Code. It is quick, confidential, and ensures faster follow-up without needing to ask a teacher or call the office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            ATTENDANCE POLICIES & PROCEDURES<\/h2>\n

            • Reporting Absences:<\/strong> Report daily absences by calling 584-0112 ext. 1 or emailing a doctor’s note to pmsattendance@puesd.net<\/code>.<\/li>\n
            • 3-Day Rule:<\/strong> Notification must be received within 3 days of an absence, or it will be marked unexcused (AR 5113).<\/li>\n
            • Doctor’s Notes:<\/strong>\n
                \n
              • Required for absences exceeding 3 consecutive days.<\/li>\n
              • Required for every absence once a student reaches 6 total absent days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
              • Early Checkout:<\/strong> Parents must present a valid form of ID every time they sign a student out early. No exceptions.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
