Back to School Night is Wednesday, August 26, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

We are hosting an open-house style event this year. Campus gates and classroom doors will open at 5:00 PM and close at 6:30 PM. Families are invited to walk through campus, visit classrooms, and meet teachers at their own pace.<\/p>\n

  • Visit Mrs. Freitas (School Counselor) in the cafeteria to learn about student wellness and support services.<\/li>\n

                      CAMPUS SAFETY & TRAFFIC PROCEDURES<\/h3>\n

                      Vehicle Pick-Up & Drop-Off Guidelines<\/h4>\n

                      1. Traffic Flow:<\/strong> Enter campus via W. Pioneer Way and pull all the way forward following the designated green arrow markers.<\/li>\n
                      2. Pedestrian Safety:<\/strong> Students must enter and exit campus using the marked crosswalk designated by orange traffic cones.<\/li>\n
                      3. Restricted Parking:<\/strong> No parent vehicles or student drop-offs are permitted in the West Staff Parking Lot<\/strong> at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        Bike, Scooter, and E-Bike Rules<\/h4>\n
                          \n
                        • Walk Zones:<\/strong> Students must dismount and walk all bikes, scooters, and skateboards once on school property.<\/li>\n
                        • Helmet Law:<\/strong> State law requires helmets for all riders under 18 years of age.<\/li>\n
                        • Motorized Vehicles:<\/strong> E-bikes and e-scooters must adhere to state speed and safety regulations. Unregistered dirt bikes and e-motorcycles are strictly prohibited on sidewalks, bike paths, and school property.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                          Student Attendance & Early Checkout<\/h4>\n

                          • Reporting Absences:<\/strong> Please report all absences within 3 school days<\/strong> by calling (559) 584-0112 ext. 1 or emailing pmsattendance@puesd.net<\/code>.<\/li>\n
                          • Medical Notes:<\/strong> A doctor’s note is required for absences exceeding 3 consecutive days, or after a student accumulates 6 total unexcused absences.<\/li>\n
                          • Early Sign-Out:<\/strong> A valid, physical photo ID is required every time a parent or authorized guardian signs out a student early from the front office. No exceptions.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
