1st Grade

The following is a list of helpful items for students in this grade to use. It is NOT required for you to provide these items for your child.

  • Backpack: Big enough to fit a folder. No rolling backpacks please!
  • Glue Sticks*: 3 Glue Sticks
  • Fine Point Dry Erase Markers*: 12
  • Crayons: 2, 24-pack non-toxic standard color crayons
  • Colored Pencils (‘Twistables’ work well)
  • Washable Broad Point markers
  • Pencil Pack (such as ‘Ticonderoga’)
  • Plastic Pencil / Supply Box (such as 8″ x 6″)
  • Erasers (such as ‘pencil top’ and regular blocks)
  • Headphones (standard 3.5mm stereo headphones, labeled with your child’s name, in a gallon-sized ziplock bag, also labeled with your child’s name)
  • 2 Spiral-bound Notebooks (wide or college ruled)
  • Highlighters (yellow)
  • Scissors (kid-safe/appropriate, such as ‘Fiskars for Kids’)

Classroom Donations
To be distributed to individual supply boxes throughout the year.

  • Sandwich or Gallon size ziplock bags
  • Quart size ‘slide-lock’ bags
  • Watercolor paints
  • Baby wipes
