5th Grade

The following is a list of helpful items for students in this grade to use. It is NOT required for you to provide these items for your child.

  • Glue Sticks (2-3 sticks – no liquid glue)
  • Fine Point Dry Erase Markers (several per trimester)
  • Dry Erase Board Eraser / Clean Cotton Cloth/Sock
  • Pencil Pack (No. 2, such as ‘Ticonderoga’)
  • Pencil Pouch (zip-up style)
  • Crayons: 1, 24-pack non-toxic standard color crayons
  • Colored Pencils (1 pack)
  • Pencil Sharpener (self-contained, not battery powered)
  • Washable Colored Markers
  • Erasers (such as ‘pencil top’ and regular blocks)
  • Correcting Pen (any color)
  • Headphones (standard 3.5mm stereo headphones, labeled with your child’s name, in a gallon-sized ziplock bag, also labeled with your child’s name)
  • 1 Spiral-bound Notebooks (wide ruled)
  • 1 Ream Wide-Ruled Binder Filler Paper
  • Highlighters (3-5)
