Your job at Pioneer is to learn!

At Pioneer, there are five expectations you will be expected to meet as soon as you come on campus. If you meet these expectations, you can earn a P5 Ticket. Any adult on campus can give you a P5 Ticket. If you fail to meet these expectations, you will receive a warning or sign-in. Any adult on campus can issue you a warning or sign-in.

Prompt

Students will be in line before the bell rings and remain in their seats for instruction. Students will obtain permission before leaving their seat.

  • Timely transitions
  • Use the restroom without delay
  • Timely return on signed documents
  • Wait for teacher dismissal

Prepared

Students will have everything you need ready for class.

  • Chromebooks charged and ready for use
  • Have all materials ready-to-go

Positive

Students will treat all people and property with respect.

  • Use appropriate language
  • Be civil to others – considerate of other people’s feelings and needs
  • Cooperate with others
  • Be willing to try new activities – and show enthusiasm.

Also, remember that profanity is a referral offense!

Polite

Students will only speak at appropriate times.

  • Be an active listener – not talking when someone else is talking
  • Eat in designated times and areas
  • Use supplies/equipment/property as intended
  • Gum-free campus
  • Use appropriate speaking volume
  • Keep hands and feet to yourself
  • Wait patiently for help
  • Keep your work area(s) clean

Productive

Students will always do your best and give 100%!

  • Follow procedures to enter and exit class
  • Engaged in your learning – and staying on task
  • Complete all assignments
  • Know when it is time to talk and time to listen
  • Listen to and follow directions
  • Be accountable for your group
