MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Middle School Families,

Teachers have begun entering grades into Infinite Campus. Parents are encouraged to check Infinite Campus weekly to monitor their student’s grades. Missing assignment auto-generated emails will be sent out on Fridays to help parents stay informed of missing work starting Friday, August 28th.

PANTHER WELLNESS HUB

During the month of August, students will participate in the counseling lesson “Meet the Counselor & Counseling Services.” Students will learn how to access support at school, identify trusted adults, and understand the many ways school counseling supports academic, social-emotional, and student success needs.

The goal is to help every Panther feel supported, connected, safe, and ready for a successful school year!

  • Need to See the Counselor?
    • New Counseling Support Request Form: Please use the new counseling support request form for the 2026–2027 school year. This form replaces the form used last year and may be completed by students, staff, or families to request counseling support for a student.

ATTENDANCE POLICIES & PROCEDURES

  • Reporting Absences: Please report absences daily by calling the attendance hotline at (559) 584-0112 ext. 1 or emailing doctor’s notes to [email protected].
  • 3-Day Rule: If notification is not received from the parent within three days of an absence, the absence will be marked unexcused (AR 5113).
  • Doctor’s Note Requirements:
    • Absences exceeding 3 consecutive days require a doctor’s note or will be marked unexcused.
    • After 6 total days of absences, a doctor’s note will be required every time a child is absent.
  • Early Sign-Out Policy: A valid, physical form of ID is REQUIRED every time you come to sign your student out of school early. If you do not have your ID with you, you will not be allowed to sign your student out. No Exceptions.
