Dear Panther Families,
Back to School Night is Wednesday, August 26, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM!
We are hosting an open-house style event this year. Campus gates and classroom doors will open at 5:00 PM and close at 6:30 PM. Families are invited to walk through campus, visit classrooms, and meet teachers at their own pace.
Special Highlights:
- Visit Mrs. Freitas (School Counselor) in the cafeteria to learn about student wellness and support services.
- Grab a cold, refreshing drink from the PTC-sponsored Lemonade Truck on campus!
We look forward to seeing all our Panther families on Wednesday evening!

Dates: August 24 – September 7
Goal: $20,000 | Stretch Goal: $25,000
Participation: 620 Students • 1 Goal
Every dollar raised directly funds student programs, classroom resources, campus activities, and student recognition events.
Prize Milestones We Can Unlock:
- $2,500: Music played during lunch
- $5,000: Free donuts for all students
- $7,500: Teachers wear ridiculous outfits for a day
- $10,000: Principal gets PIED in the face!
- $12,500: Teacher Karaoke at lunch
- $15,000: Principal & Teachers get SLIMED!
- $17,500: Extra-long lunch and recess celebration
- $20,000: School-wide Glow / Color Party!
- $25,000: Students choose the Ultimate Teacher Challenge!
Grade Level Competition:
- Grade Wars (6th vs 7th vs 8th): The grade level with the highest average amount raised per student will win bragging rights and a special reward activity.
How to Participate: Register online by scanning the QR code on the fundraiser flyer sent home or visit the school website. Share your personalized student link with family, friends, and neighbors!

CAMPUS SAFETY & TRAFFIC PROCEDURES
Vehicle Pick-Up & Drop-Off Guidelines
- Traffic Flow: Enter campus via W. Pioneer Way and pull all the way forward following the designated green arrow markers.
- Pedestrian Safety: Students must enter and exit campus using the marked crosswalk designated by orange traffic cones.
- Restricted Parking: No parent vehicles or student drop-offs are permitted in the West Staff Parking Lot at any time.
Bike, Scooter, and E-Bike Rules
- Walk Zones: Students must dismount and walk all bikes, scooters, and skateboards once on school property.
- Helmet Law: State law requires helmets for all riders under 18 years of age.
- Motorized Vehicles: E-bikes and e-scooters must adhere to state speed and safety regulations. Unregistered dirt bikes and e-motorcycles are strictly prohibited on sidewalks, bike paths, and school property.
Student Attendance & Early Checkout
- Reporting Absences: Please report all absences within 3 school days by calling (559) 584-0112 ext. 1 or emailing
[email protected]. - Medical Notes: A doctor’s note is required for absences exceeding 3 consecutive days, or after a student accumulates 6 total unexcused absences.
- Early Sign-Out: A valid, physical photo ID is required every time a parent or authorized guardian signs out a student early from the front office. No exceptions.
AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS & STUDENT RESOURCES
PASE After-School Program (6th Grade)
Provides structured academic support, homework help, enrichment clubs, healthy snacks, and Friday activities.
